Our dietitian team specialise in many different areas, including diabetes. If you have Type 2 Diabetes you are eligible for our Type 2 Diabetes Group Sessions. All you need is a group referral from your GP!

  • 8 weekly group sessions

  • Duration: 1 hour 

  • Location: Medical One Morphett Vale (359 Main South Road, Morphett Vale SA 5162)

  • Date and time: Wednesdays at 4-5pm 

  • Cost: None - Bulk Billed! Private paying $20 per session.

Each week we discuss different topics related to nutrition for the management of Type 2 Diabetes. This can help increase your understanding about healthy eating for diabetes, as well as carbohydrate distribution to help manage your blood sugar levels. We cover numerous topics so you can get a full picture and holistic approach to managing your diabetes. No crazy diets… and yes you can still eat carbohydrates! We will learn how to balance our meals and snacks so we can still enjoy all the foods we love!

Speak to your GP about a Referral for Group Allied Health Services under Medicare for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes (Group sessions = Item 81125). 

You can receive up to 8 group sessions per year through Medicare.
